How can I avail this facility?

You can avail this facility by submitting a simple registration form along with ID proof at your nearest Lakshmi Vilas Bank branch.

Who can avail this facility?
|
|
|
|
Any person, who is a savings Bank account holder of Lakshmi Vilas Bank, with a mobile phone is eligible for this facility.

Where can I use this facility?
|
|
This facility can be used for shopping over internet, paying utility bills, Mobile top-ups and for making purchase across PayMate registered merchant outlets. Please refer to www.paymate.in for more details.

Can these services be availed over any mobile?

Yes, This services can be availed over mobile phones of any make, operators ( CDMA and GSM )

Is there any monthly transaction limit?
|
|
No. However, as per the RBI guidelines there is a daily limit of Rs.10,000 on purchases made via mobile.

How secure is the transaction?
|
|
The transaction is secure, as all confirmation requests for transactions are sent to the customer’s registered mobile via an IVR call. The customer has to enter his/her secure PIN (which is not known to anyone else) for confirming every transaction.
The PIN entered by the customer is sent across the network in DTMF format and not in a plain text format and the PIN is never saved in any form on the handset or in any application
No financial details divulged during the transaction process. The entire transaction has banking-grade data security with PCI-DSS 1.2 certified systems

Is my physical presence required at the time of registration?
|
|
At present, physical presence of customer at the branch is required at the time of registration. This is as per RBI guidelines.
We are in the process of providing customer registration forms over Net banking and ATM, for the convenience of the customers.
